Food Distribution Schedule — Week of April 14
WFP and the Lebanese Red Cross will conduct food parcel distributions at the following sites: Tripoli Sports City (Mon-Tue), Baalbek Municipal Stadium (Wed-Thu), and Sidon Governmental Hospital parking (Fri-Sat). Each registered family will receive a monthly food basket containing rice, lentils, canned goods, cooking oil, and flour. Bring your registration card and a valid ID.
Emergency Shelter Expansion in Mount Lebanon
The Ministry of Social Affairs, in coordination with DRM and UNHCR, has opened 12 new collective shelters across Mount Lebanon to accommodate displaced families. Each shelter is equipped with basic amenities including bedding, hygiene kits, and first-aid stations. Priority access is given to families with vulnerable members including elderly, children under 5, and persons with disabilities.

Mobile health teams from MoPH and WHO will now operate daily at all registered collective shelters. Services include primary healthcare consultations, medication dispensing, maternal and child health checks, and mental health first aid. No registration required — all displaced persons are eligible.
Situation Report #47 — Displacement Crisis Update
As of April 12, 2026, an estimated 215,000 individuals remain displaced across Lebanon. Shelter occupancy stands at 78% nationally, with Bekaa and North Lebanon regions nearing full capacity. Health partners report stable conditions with no disease outbreaks. Education sector has enrolled 34,000 displaced children in temporary learning spaces. Coordination meetings continue weekly at the national and sub-national levels.
